RENTAL POLICY
The Hall is managed by the Baby Island Saratoga Club (BISC)
A 501 (c) (3) Nonprofit Organization
BISC welcomes use of the Hall for individuals, private organizations or groups (e.g. community club meeting, home owners association, private parties, weddings etc.) However, if the hall is rented for monetary or pecuniary gain, special rules apply.
BISC allows use of the Hall for business activities (pecuniary gain) by either a private or public entity for up to 15 days per year. The 15 day limit is established by Washington State statutes and we must observe the limit in order to preserve our property tax-exempt status.
BISC reserves the right to select among entities requesting Hall use for pecuniary gain, and to allocate the number of rentable days to each.
BISC allows use of the Hall to non-profit entities for fund raising events if the entity has not for-profit vendors. If the event includes for-profit vendors, the activity falls under the 15 day limit (unless 51% of net profits are donated to BISC as per Washington State regulations)
Rental Fees
Up to 4 hours $100.00
All Day $200.00
2 Consecutive Days $300.00
3 Consecutive Days $400.00
*Monthly contract rentals to be negotiated with the BISC Board of Directors on a contract basis.
Warning - do not schedule your function until you have verified the date with the BISC Rental Manager.
